Objectives

Vietnam Environmental Science and Development Institute is a science and technology organizations established by an individual and operating under the Law on Science and Technology, Decree 81/2002/NĐ-CP dated 17 October 2002 by the Government and other relevant documents, and subject to the administration of competent state bodies.
 Objectives of the Institute:

1. To develop scientific and engineering activities in the field of environmental protection in the period of intensive industrialization and modernization of Vietnam towards sustainable development.
2. To provide services of high quality in relation with environmental impact assessment, strategic environmental assessment, environmental monitoring, and pollution control for projects, plans, and programs of the government, local authorities, domestic and overseas organizations and companies in provinces and cities in Vietnam and other nations.
3. To make contribution into human resources of Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam, including experts in environmental engineering, environmental science as well as sustainable development.
