Hai Van - The Most Majestic and Beautiful Mountain Pass in Vietnam

Hai Van Pass is a winding coastal mountain pass that stretches through the Hai Van mountain range, between the Bach Ma and Truong Son mountain ranges.
Hai Van Pass, also known as Ai Van Pass (because there used to be a gate at the top of the pass) or May Pass (because the top of the pass is often covered in clouds), is 500 meters above sea level, 20 kilometers long, and cuts across the Bach Ma mountain (part of the Truong Son mountain that runs close to the sea). It is located on National Highway 1 at the border between Hue City (to the north) and Da Nang City.
