In the MD there many big rivers and hundreds creeks and canals, creating favourable conditions for growth of biological resource, agriculture, fishery, waterway transport and human activities. However, this region is facing and will be challenged by the increased water pollution caused by the natural factors: high water flow in the rainy season, low flow and high salinity intrusion in the dry season; high acidity at acid sulfate soils areas and by human activities in water use, hydroelectric, industry, agriculture, aquaculture, waterway transport development f-rom the upstream countries and in the Delta, changed hydrological regime and cre-ated great amount of many types of wastes, polluting the water environment and damaging ecological resource.</em></span></span><br  /> &nbsp;</div>]]></description>

The renewable energy (RE) is strongly promoted by the Government of Vietnam as a measure to ensure the country’s energy security, affordability and sustainability as&nbsp;&nbsp; well as battle the climate change. A number of policies, regulations have been&nbsp; issued&nbsp; by the Government to promote RE.</span></span><br  /> &nbsp;</div>]]></description>
