Because Ministry of Transport decided to change the viaduct into embankment at 2 sections of the Benluc - Longthanh Expresway project the International Donor (ADB) required to conduct IEE for the changed options. 

Phuquoc island is planned to be a main sea tourist center in the Southern Vietnam, therefore, in this island a new airport was constructed. 

This is large-sized project invested by Vietnam Airport Corporation. 

This project lasted f-rom 2009 until now includes quarterly monitoring on coastal water quality, sediment pollution, aquatic ecology. 

Improvement and protection of the environment at rural areas is utmost important task of the provinces in the Mekong Delta Region, in general, and of Vinhlong province, in particular.

To well integrate economic growth with environmental protection towards sustainable development the People Committee of Tiengiang province in the Mekong Delta Region has signed an agreement with VESDEC to conduct an environmental planning for the province.

To support Vietnam in rural economic development the Rural Finance Project III (RFPIII) of WB has providing a budget of about USD200 milion. The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) is the project management unit (PMU) and over 30 commercial banks are the participartory financial institutions (PFIs) and over 110,000 householders are the last borrowers (sub-projects).

Longthanh International Airport in Dongnai province with a total max. 100 milion passengers/year and a cost of over USD 6.5 bilions US for the first phase (30 milion passengers/year) is a largest project in transport development of Vietnam. Japan Airport Consultants (JAC) is an international consulting firm for this project. 

In 2010 a detailed Environmental Impact Assessement (EIA) for the Benluc – Longthanh (Ben Luc – Long Thanh) Expressway Project (an ADB Project) has been executed by VESDEC for Katahira and Engineers International (KEI) – a Japanese consulting firm for this project.
